The designs are realised by craftswomen in Nicaragua and Burkina Faso who specialise in transforming plastic bags into fabric.
Numerous prototypes for the design of the Up_Chair were required to understand and utilise the unique properties of the material.
The Up_Chair is available as a series, with each model being unique to the artisan who crafted it.
