Sahco’s Wild at Heart collection reinterprets traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. The collection blends archaic and artisanal processes with high-tech finishes, balancing bold contrasts, rich textures, and expressive colours.

Launched with an installation by Rafael de Cárdenas at Galerie Dumonteil during Paris Déco Off 2025, the collection is influenced by Franz West’s sculptural approach and Ulf Moritz’s fearless design philosophy. Across three new upholstery fabrics and seven drapery textiles, Sahco presents a refined yet rebellious aesthetic.

Colour & Texture: A Study in Contrasts

The colour palette moves between deep, intense hues and sophisticated neutrals. Gala red, garden green and licorice black make strong upholstery statements, while tones like golden sand, artichoke green and metallic grey provide balance. Drapery fabrics introduce everything from scarlet red and electric green to apricot beige, creamy eggshell, and charcoal black, offering both drama and softness.

Textures range from lustrous nylon blends and structured épinglé weaves to botanic-inspired fil-coupé fabrics and delicate guipure lace. From the intricate woven straps of Zade, inspired by Franz West’s work, to the shiny, fringed fil-coupé of Salila, the collection plays with light and movement, merging the raw and the refined.

A Contemporary Evolution

Sahco’s Creative Director, Bengt Thornefors, describes the collection as a balance of rule-breaking and refinement, capturing the spirit of past Sahco icons while embracing new materials and techniques. Whether through cinematic sheers, intricate jacquards, or bold hybrid textiles, Wild at Heart brings a fresh perspective to contemporary interiors.
