Kirkby Design partners with Swedish colourist and designer, Tekla Evelina Severin (Teklan) to create a collection of recycled outdoor fabrics.
Renowned for her use of colour blocking, Teklan’s vibrant palette pairs fresh lilacs with zesty yellows, rich greens with bright blues, and deep reds with tangerine orange.
Intended for outdoor use, the collection includes four designs; Picnic, Sunny, Basket and Unwind, all are aptly named after the quintessential elements of a picnic.
Sustainability is at the core of this collaboration. Crafted from 100% recycled polypropylene sourced from pre-consumer waste, the fibre uses no water during production and have a 40% lower carbon footprint than virgin polypropylene yarn.
Innovative, distinctive and bold, this collection embraces maximalism and encourages experimentation in contemporary outdoor settings.
