Celebrating 10 years of showcasing collections of upholstery, window, wall coverings, alongside highlighting the work of international surface and pattern design studios, MoOD+Indigo runs from 11-13 September, located at Tour+Taxis, Brussels. Look out for the Innovation Platformin partnership with Colour Hive, Material Lab, Materia, Trendease International & CELC Masters of Linen, presenting hand picked innovative materials. The focus here will be on textiles but other materials will be represented too with the aim of providing an accurate picture of current innovations.
Returning again this year, Startup businesses and designers in business for five years or less take the spotlight at MoOD Launch Pads. MoOD also looks to the future with Next Wave, the show’s trend theme and its accompanying blog written by Niek De Prest (moodbrussels.com/en/blog).
For the first time, there will be no fabric samples by exhibitors on the trend platform. Instead, the most important trends set to influence the future of living and working will be on display, with a ‘Future Dome’ built for this purpose. An important note; Indigo has slightly different opening hours, starting on Monday afternoon for an exclusive pre-opening on September 10th, at 1pm.
Lastly, 0ur very own Marie Rouillon will be delivering an inspirational seminar on Colour & Material trends for Autumn Winter 2019/20 on Tuesday the 11th of September at 2PM. The seminar will profile four key colour stories for AW 2019/20; Wild, Story, Solace and Vibe. Based on this forecast, Marie will explore how these trends will inform colour choices, inspire design concepts and influence material and surface application. It’s not to be missed.
