While brighter colours like yellow act as highlights for our trend Bazaar (Spring Summer 2018), forest green has proved to be the perfect foil; a neutral that still manages to bring definition to colour groups.
The colour featured prominently at Hay during this year’s Milan Design Week, used for sofas and accessories. Similarly, Edward van Vliet’s Develius modular sofa system for & Tradition looks wonderful in this rich shade.
And there was more forest green, again in velvet, for Dutchbone’s Art Nouveau flower tub chair at Cuckooland. As can be seen, forest green becomes a persuasive neutral, working well with creams and off whites, offering a timeless replacement for shades of blue and brown.
